Travelrrrr App

The Travelrrrr app was the focus of a design test for a job opportunity, aimed at evaluating the branding, copywriting, and marketing skills of a designer. The brief provided a brief overview of the app and logo, and the designer’s task was to create the branding, copy, and design of the app, as well as supporting ads for a New York launch campaign. The target audience for the app was young travelers aged 18 to 25 who were exploring New York.


The first step was to research the target audience to understand their preferences and habits. Based on this research, the brand was designed to be vibrant, fun, and youthful, with a focus on adventure and exploration.

Next, the app’s user interface was designed to be simple and intuitive, with a focus on ease of use. The interface was designed to showcase the top events and attractions in New York, as well as last-minute tours and ticket deals. A key feature of the app was the ability to filter events and attractions based on user preferences, such as location, date, and type of activity.

The marketing campaign was designed to reflect the brand’s youthful and adventurous ethos. The campaign included both print and social media ads, with a focus on Instagram and Facebook. The ads featured bold, eye-catching imagery, with a clear call-to-action to download the app. The copy was designed to be fun and engaging, with a focus on the app’s key features and benefits.


As this was a mock case study for a design test, the Travelrrrr app was not actually launched. However, the design process and resulting branding, copy, and marketing campaign demonstrate the skills and creativity in designing a visually appealing and user-friendly app that would appeal to young travelers exploring New York.


Designing the branding, copy, and marketing campaign for the Travelrrrr app as part of a mock case study was a challenging and rewarding experience. The resulting design demonstrates the designer’s ability to create a vibrant and engaging brand that would appeal to the target audience, as well as a user interface that is intuitive and easy to use.
