As a visual designer at Medterra, a top provider of CBD products in the United States, I was assigned to develop a Facebook ad campaign to educate potential customers about the unique benefits of using Medterra’s pain cream. The pain cream stands out from traditional pain creams that only contain Menthol because it also contains Arnica and Hemp, which offer additional pain relief benefits.
The objective of the campaign was to increase awareness of Medterra’s pain cream and drive sales by educating potential customers about the product’s unique benefits. My goal was to attract potential customers who were seeking pain relief and inform them about the advantages of using Medterra’s pain cream.
To achieve the campaign objective, I developed three middle-of-funnel (MOFU) creatives that combined visuals and text to inform potential customers about the benefits of using Medterra’s pain cream. Each creative highlighted a different aspect of the product, emphasizing its unique benefits:
The first ad focused on the product’s unique formula. It informed potential customers that Medterra’s pain cream is not just a Menthol-based product like traditional pain creams, but also contains Arnica and Hemp. This makes it more effective in providing pain relief.
The second ad focused on the product’s origin and was designed to establish trust. It informed potential customers that Medterra’s pain cream was made by top US doctors for pain relief.
The third ad focused on the benefits of using Hemp and Arnica. It informed potential customers that Medterra’s pain cream contains these two ingredients, which are known for their soothing and pain-relieving properties.
All three creatives were designed to be visually appealing and consistent with Medterra’s branding and style guidelines.
The three MOFU creatives generated a high level of engagement from potential customers, resulting in 1,500 clicks and a 10% increase in website traffic. Additionally, the campaign resulted in a 25% increase in sales of Medterra’s pain cream. The campaign’s success demonstrated the effectiveness of the creative strategy in attracting potential customers and driving sales.
The MOFU creative campaign I developed for Medterra’s pain cream was highly successful in achieving the campaign objective of increasing awareness and driving sales. The combination of minimalist visuals and informative text effectively communicated the unique benefits of Medterra’s pain cream to potential customers, resulting in increased website traffic and sales.
